“DANCE SERIES - LA FIN DE LEUR MONDE” IS A VIDEO PROJECT THAT AIMS TO TAKE DANCE OUT OF THE THEATERS ANS THUS COME UP AGAINST DIFFERENT AUDIENCE.

Through a series of three dance video episodes, AWA and the two invited Luxembourgish creators, Georges Maikel Pires Monteiro and Jill Crovisier, addressed their life's anguish, their identity issues related to the different crises and their hopes for the future.

Live stream " Don't they know... ": AWA

" takotsubo, or broken or happy heart syndrome is caused by an acute stress situation, after a dramatic or happy event. The heart can no longer contract and perform its pumping function. And if the only remedy was a voluntary amnesia.... For better or for worse".

Virtual reality " THREESIXTYº": Jill Crovisier

" will look at the symbolism of the number 360 and the notion of identity. The choreographic concept will focus strongly on the questioning of the confinement and restriction created by the walls in a space and their influence on the individual and the quartet.

Short film "Seu modo e eu": Georges Maikel

"Guided by our desire to belong and the privilege of a good passport, we are able to reconstruct ourselves wherever we want. That said, the "unwanted foreigner" coming to our country is reduced to a number and loses his identity and all that it implies."

As an outlet we filmed our dance in all possible ways, live action, VR, streaming,... and thus try to exorcise our fears to better face them.
