Imagination is all you need at our Creative Movement Class. Developing physicality and confidence through creative movement, the classes are highly imaginative, combining a range of elements such as art, music, sound, props, themes and stories to inspire their ideas. Attendees will develop new skills, and get some exercise, whilst exploring creativity through movement. The class also touches on some of the themes and ideas that inspired the work HEART. Together we will explore and recreate 90’s Romantic Comedy Scenes and particular painting from the 19th century era of Romanticism.

Heart is an investigation into younger peoples perspectives of romance and beauty, and how popular culture can influence this. The work is a series of sketches that include a Gene Kelly inspired tap dance, a literal interpretation of “falling in Love” metaphors, a song inspired by 90’s Rom Com quotes, and recreations of romantic paintings from the 1800’s.
